Three college seniors on a camping trip during Spring Break meet Jack Weston, a reclusive genius scientist. As they get to know each other, a sudden explosion at a nearby metalwork facility launches lethal sulfur dioxide directly into an oncoming storm. They deadly acid rains a path of destruction through their campsite as it makes its way toward the nearby city limits. They quickly experience the devastation of the lethal liquid falling from the sky as it pierces their clothing and melts their skin. As terrible as the situation seems, they soon discover that the truth behind this incident is far more sinister. Now Jack and his new friends must band together to survive and devise a way to neutralize the acid before it kills thousands.
